CI Group of Baton Rouge’s managing partner, Melony Fields, and Daniel J. Fields Consulting’s President & CEO, Danny Fields, both entrepreneurs, are a married couple who are passionate about supporting the community and advancing entrepreneurship in Baton Rouge.  The Fields leveraged each of their respective companies to collaborate with Young Entrepreneurs Academy to increase awareness and philanthropic support for the nonprofit program, which recently launched its fifth cohort of high school students.

Melony Fields shared, “CI Group is proud to support the Young Entrepreneurs Academy and looks forward to seeing these high school students become Baton Rouge’s leading entrepreneurs in the future.  It was our privilege to provide our beautiful showroom and sponsor this event to support this incredible organization.”

Danny Fields, who also serves as a member of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy Steering Committee, shared after the event, “I am inspired by these young entrepreneurs and admire what Deborah Sternberg and the YEA team have built with this program.  Melony and I invite all the business leaders in Baton Rouge to help this organization continue to grow so that we can support our next generation of entrepreneurs.”

Deborah Sternberg, Founder and Chair of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy of Baton Rouge shared, “We are grateful to CI Group, Daniel J. Fields Consulting, and all our investors and corporate partners for their ongoing support of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy.  Because of community support, we have been able to successfully guide these high school students through mentorship and training to create official new business ventures that are registered with the State of Louisiana, and help them advance their academic careers with college credit to LSU’s E.J. Ourso College of Business upon completion of the program.”
